NCIA 2021 – Together Apart

Are you tired of virtual events?! NCIA 2021 organizers are too. Therefore we have created a hybrid solution to the traditional conference. 

 

The participants will meet in different venues across the Baltics and Nordics, and the panels will be streamed at the different venues. 

 

The idea is itself fairly simple. All you need to do is to set up a hub with a few friends or fellow students on a computer, a TV or a projector. The hub could take place in your living room, or you could book an appropriate venue with a large screen. The good thing about a world-wide pandemic is that venues with the necessary equipment have cropped up everywhere.

 

The program will take place on a Saturday evening (30th October 16.00 CEST), so you could even have some pizza, popcorn and a few beers. To speak plainly: You could have a party!

 

We would also like everyone to bring their phone and a couple of headphones to participate in an interactive activity during the evening. This would, of course, take place at the end of the evening, so that all the reserved Nordics out there would be comfortable about speaking to complete strangers.

 

NCIA is dedicated to young people interested in international affairs – and what could possibly be better than highly relevant dilemmas in international affairs and a party? 

This way we could all be together, but apart - across different cities in the Nordics.

 

Do not forget to register for the conference on our webpage and in order to register your hub send an email to NCIA@nordicconvention.org including the number of people in your hub and country by 29th of October 16.00.

 

People that are streaming NCIA 2021 in a hub will receive a surprise!
